Services Manager
This role is responsible for the effective day to day operational engagement between Brightpoint and this well known brand. As the dedicated on-site point of contact for our customer the key focus of this role is to collaboratively work with key staff to ensure the delivery of highly innovative and cost effective services and solutions within the commercial framework.
Without a doubt you will
facilitate outstanding customer service. This includes customer
follow-up, and other activities to increase responsiveness to the
customer. As urgent situations arise, it is critical that the
Client Services Manager take immediate action to mobilize the
appropriate people to resolve the situation quickly with a high
level of customer service requests.
You and your team of one will be
the first point of contact for all system related issues. You will
manage this customer from an operational level regarding system
change and all change requests. Working closely with the Account
Director you will identify other business opportunities including -
Web Offering, Reporting, Operations, Logistical Process,
Customer/Channel handling.

who has experience in the IT&T industry preferably with a solid
understanding of both sales and operations. There is no question
you can build effective relationships within both businesses. You

CREDIT OFFICER
Due to internal movement, a full time position has become
available for a State Credit Officer. This role ensures that
accounts are operated within approved limits and overdue amounts
are kept to a minimum.
Reporting to the Credit Manager, the successful candidate will
be responsible for the following duties:

Attend to customer queries in a timely manner
·
Daily telephone collections
·
Release orders inline with current policy
·
Process pricing adjustments
·
Review existing credit limits to ensure accuracy
·
Maintain customer information
·
Reporting as required
·
Recommend accounts for collect and final demand.
·
Attend and contribute to departmental meetings
The ideal candidate will have:

Strong computer skills MS Office and the aptitude to learn
JDEdwards
·
Minimum of 6 months credit experience
·
An eagerness to learn new skills, with the opportunity for
growth
·
Excellent communication skills and customer service
·
Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team
Database Administrator
This role has overall responsibility of the database
environments within Asia Pacific. This role is accountable for
optimum performance of the current and future databases and will
provide estimates on data growth and requirements for new and
existing project / activities undertaken in the region. It will
assist the application and development teams in developing and
validating all data interaction including the interface between the
ERP and the Online systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist IT management in database design
- Develop and maintain operational logs covering security, errors and performance of core databases deployed
- Maintain warm and hospitable customer relations with both internal and external customers
- Ensure maximum database availability and performance including 24 hour support when required
- Plan, develop and deliver effective training that will maximize application and system productivity
- Manage the implementation of all Oracle and SQL database enhancements and upgrades
This dynamic team of professionals provides services to
Australia, New Zealand and Singapore and supports 300+ users. You
will be required to provide a high level of service to the entire
national team.
This position would suit somebody who has commercial
experience in a medium to large complex environment preferably
logistics, distribution or manufacturing. You will have 3 – 8 years
experience in a database administration role with exposure to
mission critical systems. You will be certified in SQL and Oracle
Databases.

UNIX / LINUX
Administrator
This role has overall responsibility of the UNIX and LINUX
systems environments within Asia Pacific. This role is accountable
for optimum performance of the current and future UNIX – LINUX
systems and will provide estimates on performance & system
requirements for new and existing project / activities undertaken
in the region. It will assist the database administrator,
application and development teams in developing and validating all
system requirements including the interface between the ERP and
related systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the maintenance of accurate documentation on network configuration and hardware location under your area of responsibility.
- Ensure through proper quality control and assurance, maximum system and network up time.
- Maintain warm and hospitable customer relations with both internal and external customers
- Provide efficient, timely and relevant technical support for all IT systems running a flavor of UNIX and related technologies
- Evaluate, implement and configure all UNIX/LINUX operating systems, systems software, windows and network connections.
- Proactively support, monitor and upgrade the server environment
- Test and implement new network related hardware and software
- Complete regular capacity planning forecasts and provide monthly systems capacity performance analysis reporting to management
In this role you’ll be a key
contributor to the security, stability and availability of the
production environment. You will be required to interact with and
understand the business and business processes.

will be required to provide a high level of service to the entire
national team.
This position would suit somebody who has commercial
experience in a medium to large complex environment preferably
logistics, distribution or manufacturing. You will have 5 years
plus experience in administering LINUX/UNIX (Red Hat/HP-UX)
systems.
