Brightpoint Enters into Distribution Agreement
with Apple in Australia

PLAINFIELD, Ind. – October 16, 2008 – Brightpoint, Inc. NasdaqGS: CELL) announced today that its subsidiary, Brightpoint Australia Pty. Ltd. (“Brightpoint”), has entered into an agreement with Apple Pty. Ltd. (“Apple”) to distribute the iPod product range and iPod genuine accessories. As part of the agreement, Brightpoint will distribute iPod accessories to authorized Apple resellers in Australia.
